Tofu Chicken

This tastes much better after it’s refrigerated overnight. I put some on my salads almost every day.
The tofu instructions seem complicated, but they only suck if you were hoping you could eat this right away. Don’t skip any of those steps or the texture won’t be right.
I use this handy tofu press.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp curry powder
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
Directions
- Press tofu for 30 minutes
- Freeze overnight
- Let thaw
- Drain
- Press again for 30 minutes
- Mix soy sauce, 1 tsp smoked paprika, garlic powder, and curry powder in bowl
- Break tofu apart and coat chunks with mixture
- Add in corn starch and coat tofu with it
- Sprinkle another tsp of smoke paprika
- Put on baking sheet (oiled or on silicone)
- Bake at 375 for 30 minutes
